Thank you very, very much for the excellent care you gave our mother for the eight weeks she resided in your facility. On countless times she said, “They’ll do anything for you,” and “they take good care of me,” and “Thank God for places like this.” It shows the minute you walk in the door that the folks residing there are cared for, they’re content, and their needs are met.

We also provide some "above and beyond" services that we thought you'd like to hear about:
 |

Our rehab program is one of the best in the region. And it’s not just for the elderly. In conjunction with our outpatient therapy programs, we provide a full range of services to support your rehab and physical therapy needs. Visit our Rehabilitation & Outpatient Therapy page to learn more.

Living with dementia is frightening, confusing, and upsetting – for the person experiencing this devastating illness and their family. Our Faith Haven program can help. It’s a specialized unit designed specifically for people with dementia. Visit our Dementia Care page to learn more.

The aging process can be a challenging transition for many people. Sometimes, talking about it can help. Our on-site psychologist works with residents who might be experiencing difficulties by providing compassionate, caring talk therapy. Often, this helps residents begin to feel like themselves again.

In the main dining room, residents are served restaurant-style, complete with a wait staff, multiple courses, and beverage selection. Tablecloths, centerpieces, and small, four-person tables create a friendly, intimate setting that encourages conversation and socializing. At each meal, residents are offered a choice from two main entrées, with salads, soups, sandwiches, and other alternatives. Most residents customize their meals to suit their whim at the moment. After the meal, dessert is served, with coffee, cappuccino, tea, and hot chocolate.
Residents love our wide variety of foods that include Belgian waffles (every Tuesday morning), hot sandwiches, French onion soup, pizza, and many different ethnic cuisines. For a reasonable fee, guests are welcome to join residents for any meal.

For residents with specific nutritional needs, we provide in-house dietary planning by our registered dietician. All MediLodge dieticians participate in ongoing training in the latest research and techniques for assisting our elderly population. Having a dietician on staff means that your loved one will receive an individualized plan that addresses their complex nutritional needs. Specialized nutrition can help enhance residents’ healing and overall health. This is critically important for residents with conditions such as diabetes, renal (kidney) problems, and wound issues.

Looking good helps everyone feel their best. Keeping that in mind, we provide in-room and in-building barber and beauty services. For those who want a little extra pampering, we also offer facials and manicures. All of these services are available to residents as well as family members.

The services listed below are available to residents at an additional cost via outside providers. To receive these services, a physician order is necessary. Once provided, the services will be billed (when possible) to insurance, then an invoice for the remainder will be billed to the family or Medicaid if applicable.
