  MediLodge of St. Clair is a 180-bed skilled nursing facility adjacent to St. John’s River District Hospital in the beautiful Blue Water Area of Michigan. Although we are not affiliated with the hospital, our close proximity enables our residents to receive specialized services that only a hospital can provide without the disruption of having to be transported. At MediLodge of St. Clair, residents, their families, and physicians work together to determine the level of care that is most suitable for each individual. Our experienced medical professionals provide skilled nursing care, rehabilitation services, and individually tailored nutrition to each resident. In addition, our carefully designed therapeutic recreation and social activities provide residents with interesting and stimulating things to do each day. We believe that each person deserves to live with dignity and respect while receiving the best level of care that we can provide. It is also our goal to help each resident rehabilitate as much as possible and return to their home and community. In fact, over 75 percent of our residents recover enough to meet this goal. Should additional care become necessary, many of these same people return and let us help them again.  MediLodge of St. Clair is consistently rated among the best skilled nursing facilities in the area. We know this because we are “surveyed” and inspected annually by the State of Michigan. During this state survey, we undergo scrutiny in all areas of care and administration. Sometimes, like any nursing home, we have a few corrections to make. We’re always trying to do better, to improve the care we provide our residents.  MediLodge of St. Clair is licensed as a skilled nursing facility by the State of Michigan. We also belong to the Health Care Association of Michigan (www.hcam.org) and the American Health Care Association (www.ahca.org).
